Billy Joel at Target Field

The Patio Team took a trip to see the Piano Man himself at Target Field in Minneapolis.  He did not disappoint, but our seats did!  We couldn't have placed those speaker poles any better - right in our line of site from our infield seats.  Oh, well, he moved around enough that it was still worth it.  ESPECIALLY when Axel Rose, who Billy Joel referred to as "his friend", came out and sang AC/DC's "Highway To Hell".  It was an unbelievable moment.  And he appeared again, to join Billy on "Big Shot" during the encore.  All in all a great...

Put-In-Bay, Lake Erie, OH

Want your own piece of island paradise, in the middle of Lake Erie?  Put-In-Bay looks and feels like you've traveled to Key West.  Our favorite was probably Mojito Bay (www.mojitobaypib.com), but then again we're suckers for a good Tiki Bar.  Literally you can have "a drink in hand, toes in the sand" with the sand floor under this huge Tiki roof.  Try the mojitos, they only make like a THOUSAND of them a week!   We took the Jet Express from Port Clinton, which made for a nice 25 minute cruise to the Island.  We had to visit The Keys,...

London House Rooftop - Chicago

Key West Sunset Ale

Key West Sunset Ale

We've had Key West Sunset Ale many times, and it's always a great choice.  It's smooth, not hoppy (we are NOT fans of hoppy beer), and has a great label!  In this case, paired with fresh Stone Crab Claws, it's an unbeatable combination.  Yeah, the Mango Margarita was great too.  This was taken at Snook's Bayside Restaurant and Tiki Bar in Key Largo, FL.
